Great performance upgrade for a daily driver

This intake not only looks great but was super easy to install and adds a mild touch of added performance. Everything was packaged very well and the instructions were easy to follow. Overall the it took about 2-3 hours to install and most of that involves removing and replacing body parts at the beginning and end. I opted to enlarge the factory intake ports for a cleaner install but the silicone elbows will fit without cutting. Everything else bolted up easily. I would recommend also purchasing aftermarket PVC hoses to replace the stock system. Overall, I am very pleased with the product and the service provided throughout the purchasing process.

The car just runs way smoother than before. You can actually hear the filter pull in more air which sounds amazing, DID NOT EXPECT IT AT ALL! Great product! Just need and exhaust which i cant find anywhere!

Great Product!

Great performance and sound. Let’s my 3.6 motor breath better. Along with my exhaust upgrade, I’ve increased my horsepower and still getting 17.5 - 18mpg with running 37” tires on my gladiator.

noticeable difference

At higher revs you can feel, and hear the difference with this intake. AFE make a great product. Very easy to install. Direct fit. I'd recommend it.

Air filter

The filter works and fits fine, however the filter has threaded studs where the original screws held the filter in place. Would have been perfect if the filter came with nuts to fit the threaded studs. I had to go to hardware store and purchase two nuts.

reuseable aFe air filter

Use these in 2 vehicles, the Subaru Forester has gained perhaps 1 mpg since installing the aFe filter. Also put one in our 2011 Toyota Tacoma 6cyl, don't know if we gained much in MPG, really haven't checked. They are a bit spendy but since they are reuseable I'm not putting anything in the landfill and that's a big plus. Had a K&N oiled filter prior, which worked fine, but was a hassle to clean and then oil. Like the dry filter way better.
