Good Quality

Ordering was fast and easy, got the part quickly. I give it 4 stats because there is no built in O-ring like AFE rear diff cover offers. Also the drain plug comes with teflon but oil weeps out still. All the other plugs are good.

Frustrated!

I was stoked when I got the new rear diff cover. It has a large sight glass and magnetized dipstick as well as magnetized drain plug. My local four-wheel-drive shop called after they drained the diff in my 2021 F250 Tremor 7.3 gas with tow package that they removed the stock cover and drained the oil but no way was the new cover is going on my truck. It’s about an 1 1/2 to small. They said my truck has 14 bolt and the new cover is a 12 bolts. Not happy I wasted the money on the oil and the labor for nothing. I had drained and filled the diffs six months earlier so the fluid was fine. I was just upgrading the covers. Now I have to pay the mechanic and buy oil again.

Lots of features!

I had a credit from ET, so I used it for this. Turns out, it was a great choice. Oil quantity for the rear diff is doubled to 2 quarts, there's 2 magnets, a drain plug, a fill plug, a small plug to indicate it's full, a sight glass, and LBNL, red finish with fins that are very visible. Love it!

Much better protection than OEM

Looks great, very well made the sight glass is a plus along with the cooling fins and is easy to install, the hardest part would be removing the stock bolts because of the Loctite used at the assembly plant. I filmed a video on the installation for my YT channel but was unable to upload it here. I do recommend this product, it's a bit pricey but worth it.

Differential cover review

The AFE pro series different cover looks great and is easy to install took about two and half hours from start to finish. On this differential cover having a site glass is a nice option for easy level checking.

AFE Rear Differential Cover

Easily installed and adds extra features as magnetic drain plug and fill. Small window allows visual inspection of fluid level.

2018 F150 Rear Diff Cover

Great differential cover, installation was easy took two hours at the most, I like the ability to see the level of fluid, I also like that I can drain the fluid. I would suggest that you get a lube locker gasket from MAG HYTECH, this was alot easier and less of a mess than the black RTV that is supplied with the cover.

aFe Rear Diff Cover

Great rear differential cover, everything on it is bad ass, it has a sight glass to the left of it to monitor the gear fluid oil/levels, has a drain plug in the bottom and a fill plug on top. Love this cover! Gives the back of the truck more aesthetics ?? ????.
