Three Layers of Progressive Synthetic (Dry) Media for Maximum Convenience. Washable and reusable for multiple cleaning cycles, the tall open evenly spaced pleats provide excellent dust holding capacity for longer service cycle between cleanings. Integrated urethane bump seal insures tight, no leak seal over the life of the filter.

AFE PROS S FILTER
Definitely a well constructed filter with quality material. I have only had this in for several wels but have notices a small mileage improvement.

Great filter
After replacing my old paper filter with the afe one I could tell a difference. Already seeing better mpg and the motor has better response when you push the throttle. I also like the fact that the filter is reusable, that will save me a lot over the years! Very happy with my purchase.

A reusable filter for less money than a disposable...
No brainer cost-wise… for my 2008 F-250 Super Duty 6.4L Diesel a disposable Fram air filter is priced at $90, this one was only $71 and its reusable. I definitely notice a difference in throttle response, much smoother at low end.

AFE Pro Dry Air Filter 2008 Ford F 250
The AFE Pro Dry air filter fit perfectly in place of the stock OEM air filter. The two filters appear totally different and the factory filter looks like it is more dense than the AFE but the AFE I can take out any time and wask it in mildly soapy warm water, dry throughly and replace in my truck all clean again. You can not do this with the OEM you have to spend big bucks on the OEM air filter. If I spend a weekend at the Deer Lease driving down dirty and dusty roads then when I get home I can wash my AFE out and presto it is like new again. I also gained about 2 miles per gallon fuel economy from my 6.4L diesel power stroke.

Quality Product!
The moment I opened the box, I knew I made the right decision to purchase this filter. Great look (not that anyone will see it once installed) and I can hear the difference! I had purchase a Fram paper filter in the past to replace the original one and paid more for it at a national auto parts store - go figure? Anyway, very pleased with it so far - don't anticipate any problems. By the way, the dang thing arrived only 2 days after I ordered it.
