      Description

The POWERAID Throttle Body Spacer is designed to enhance off-idle torque from 800 rpm to approximately 3,000 rpm. The spacer utilizes its unique, patented Helix Bore design to spin the incoming air charge as it passes through the throttle body spacer. The spinning air action boosts the velocity of the incoming air and contributes to better atomization of the air/fuel mixture as the air charge enters the combustion chamber. The end result is more part-throttle torque and improved mid-range power.

Air intake systems are a common first mod to many project cars. They are quick and simple to install while also enhancing the looks of your engine bay, the sounds of your engine, and the performance of your vehicle.

We started with air filters, but our vision has grown broader. Pushing beyond the street, into new rugged frontiers, we are optimizing air intake across the entire spectrum of internal combustion. From powdery snow-slopes, sand dunes, mud bogs, drag strips and road trips; to finish lines everywhere, across every terrain, we power drivers and explorers to dream bigger, adventure further, and discover their full potential.

      Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer

I got this at the same time as a K&N cool air intake for my 2001 Ford Ranger. Between the two I gained about 3mpg, and a lot of mid-range power. I had read that these spacers sometimes whistle... well mine whistles almost constantly. Not only that, but the installation instructions are a pain to follow, and vague at best. It also doesn't come with bolts as shown, instead it comes with screws, one of which stripped out. (I ended up going down and buying some stainless bolts to replace all four.)

      2003 Ford Ranger 4.0L

The Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer isn't what it is suppose to be. I did notice more torque from the low rpm range but it hasn't done anything else. The gas mileage is the same and the whistling noise sounds more like a bad belt. I'm taking this piece off when it gets warmer. Unless you're towing, this piece isn't worth it. If the whistling sound was quieter, I would keep it but it truly does make my truck sound bad and the extra torque ain't worth it.

Installation was easy. The whistle may get annoying but sounds cool for now. Can feel the extra power on the low end and the mpg went up 1 to 1.5mpg. not bad for the price.

      Airaid PowerAid

At first I honestly didn't notice a difference. I did feel a little bit on the highway when passing, it accellerated a little faster but it was hardly noticable. However, after I installed a K&N FIPK 2 the PowerAid really made a lot more noise and I could definately feel a little extra boost in power. I am very satisfied. Would buy again.

      Worth the Money

I bought this throttle body spacer for my 2002 Ford Ranger and I experienced better fuel economy and increased power. It is definetly worth the money. Plus it was very easy to install and only took about 20 minutes to install.

It’s a MUST out of all upgrades

Got one for my 1994 truck and really helped it run better got better mpg and it worked great with the Airaid CAI. So I got one for my 2008 Silverado and Samething great results. I found one on sale and got it for my dad’s truck. He was amazed with the results on his 2000 F150. Installation is easy if you know your way around an engine and tools. Not difficult at all. This is one of those upgrades that is a must, especially if you have a cold air intake already. Worth every penny, over time it’ll pay for itself by saving you $ on gas.

      Worth every penny

Installing was easy just gotta make sure you place it facing the right way so the swirl is the correct way for the air induction. This throttle body spacer made my truck have more power and torque. Paired with a cold air intake from K&n and a Flowmaster 40 series my truck is running better than ever. It has helped the Mpg which in time the mods will have been paid for off the money saved on gas. I recommend it.
