Works Great

Bought the Airaid Synthaflow drop in filter over K & N because of the reviews.I put it in my 2020 Ford Ranger that has a little 2.3L Turbo which produces 270HP with stock filter. All I can say is it definitely made a noticeable change in the performance. You can actually hear more bark from the little turbo as it's getting more air. So far I am pleased with the product and the enhanced performance.

this breathes much better than the oem filter and just using this my mpg improved at least .5 mpg

Worth it

Bought with the intention of increasing fuel economy. Ended up gaining almost 2 mpg in 2014 ecoboost (15.8 -> 17.7). Can’t speak on any performance gains. Turbos sound a little louder.

Better than stock!

This Airaid SynthaFlow filter is an excellent upgrade from the stock paper filter! I couldn't afford a full cold air intake just yet and this is a nice happy medium. I have felt a slight difference while driving and the sound of the engine is better as well. According to the truck, gained 1 mpg after install. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants an upgrade but can't afford a cold air intake.

It's a air filter

Not a noticeable difference, I have spacer and throttle body installed, so this is kinda rounding it all out.

Suck, squeeze, bang, blow.

I like this filter in every way. I only have one annoyance. The base material (silicone or the like) is a little too pliable and at times the OEM air box does not seal properly. It makes a really cool noticeable turbo sound though! I find the rear portion of the filter base becomes unseated inside the air box or the clamps on the air box pop off and the filter is bypassed. After 6 months or so, this problem has seeming ceased. Still a great product.

Great Filter

This is a well made filter that dropped right in. I put it in the same time I added larger tires so it was hard to tell if it made a difference. No matter how you look at it though, less restriction on the airflow is always a good thing.

DOES NOT FIT 2018 3.5L Platinum

Tried to install but it appears the outer lip is too thick/big. Confirmed with AirAid that it does not fit 2018 3.5L air box. 3 stars because Dave at American Trucks got me an RMA and return label before I had hung up the phone.

simple, to install, no tools. performance gain are OK. can not complain
