    Description

The AMP Research POWERSTEPXL automatic electric-powered running board is designed for lifted trucks. The board has been integrated into a custom rocker rail and creates a seamless look while providing a 3 in. lower stepping surface than the original POWERSTEP. This allows easier access to and from the vehicle's cab. Learn about the POWERSTEPXL and its features and benefits in this new video.

One way to style and protect the body of your vehicle is by having a quality set of nerf bars, skid plates, rock sliders, or rock guards. If you are looking for a way to easily enter and exit your vehicle, you may want to look into getting a set of running boards. Check out our inventory of Rock guards and running boards from brands like Addictive Desert Designs, AMP, RBP, DV8 off-road, Westin, Lund, ARB, and more!

Get easier access in & out of your vehicle with a new set of running boards.

Part common sense, part mechanical marvel, an AMP Research invention tends to be one of those 'why didn't I think of that?' Ideas that seem like total no-brainers. In fact, it's the simple solution to complex problems that have eluded Mankind throughout history, and are the hardest answers to think up. Finding the simple, functional solution to a complex design challenge is the goal of every AMP Research innovation. As Albert Einstein said, "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler."
