The Hammer shifter may just be the most comfortable and versatile shifter available. The unique design of the shift handle easily fits all sizes of hands providing the appropriate wrist angle and feel when shifting. The multi-position lockout trigger is spoon-shaped for easy operation in a multitude of grip positions and controls the reverse lockout feature, meeting NHRA/IHRA safety rules. Also features a smooth positive ratchet action, which only allows you to shift one gear at a time, so you'll never have to worry about missing a gear from over-shifting. Other safety features include a backup light switch, neutral safety switch and illuminated gear position indicator. The result is a shifter that is perfect for all new generation vehicles and street rods where style is not just form, but function. Compatible with most 3 and some 4-speed automatic transmission's right out of the box. Includes all necessary hardware, console, 5-foot shifter cable, brackets, shift arms and detailed instructions for an easy at home installation.

Technical Notes. Fits GM TH400, 350, 250, 200, 700R4/4L60, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L80E automatic transmissions (for 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L80E with PRNDL switch, use optional bracket kit #70499. Ford C4, C5, C6 and AOD (AOD will require optional kit#40496) AODE, 4R70W #40504 and E40D & 4R100 will require optional kit #40505. Fits Chrysler 1966 and later Torqueflite A727 (36RH/37RH), A518 (46RH/46RE), A618 (47RH/47RE/48RE), A904 (30RH), A999 (32RH), A500 (40RH/42RH/40RE/42RE/44RE) automatic transmissions.
