      Description

Get more cool air to feed your 2016 up Camaro 6.2L SS with this new Black Series Polymer constructed performance cold air intake. Nothing can wake up the power potential in your new Gen 6 Camaro 6.2L SS like one of our new CAD designed rotomolded cold air kits now available for LT1 equipped Camaros. These kits are designed and built in the USA using the latest CAD software and equipment to ensure the best design for improved horsepower and torque. Each kit features high quality polymer intake tubes and custom air shroud that bolts directly in place and allows the air to flow straight in from the factory inlet in the front OEM fascia. Each kit incorporates a high flow washable cotton element filter for maximum flow. All kits will work with all factory and aftermarket tunes.

Air intake systems are a common first mod to many project cars. They are quick and simple to install while also enhancing the looks of your engine bay, the sounds of your engine, and the performance of your vehicle.

We often recommend upgrading your OEM intake to a cold air intake as one of the first modification your should do to your car. Often times, the factory airbox is restricting. Replacing your intake system with an aftermarket unit will increase intake noise, performance, and improve your overall driving experience.

Many people often ask, how did the brand BBK come to be and what does BBK stand for. It's actually the initials of company founder and current CEO Brian Murphy, his best friend from high school Barry Morrison and Brian's younger brother Ken Murphy. Growing up in a small town in the northeast during the 1970's & 80's, Brian would read car magazines like Hot Rod & Car Craft and dream about Southern California and the performance industry as it was the birth place of the car culture and home of many companies such as Edelbrock & Hot Rod Magazine. Upon graduating high school in 1987, Brian convinced Barry to join him in driving out west to Southern California to start a new life and attend college. A few months later after seeing how popular the new breed of electronic fuel injected pony cars like the Mustang and Camaro had become, Brian had the idea of starting a company that would sell performance bolt ons for these new platforms. Back in 1988 the leading aftermarket companies such as Summit Racing were focused on performance for the old school carbureted muscle cars and really didn't understand Detroit's latest fuel injected platforms.
