Description
High-RPM Performance. The Stage 3 Camshafts are designed to enhance high-RPM engine performance in compatible non-Rev-Up VQ35DE applications through increased lobe lift and a longer-duration camshaft profile. The Stage 3 Camshafts work with the engine's dual overhead cam cylinder heads and variable valve timing system to support a performance-focused valvetrain setup. ECU tuning and the Brian Crower BC0220 Valve Spring and Retainer Kit are required for proper operation.
Construction and Appearance. These Stage 3 Camshafts feature precision-manufactured construction with performance-oriented lobe profiles engineered for increased lift and duration. Their high-RPM configuration is designed for demanding performance applications while maintaining compatibility with the VQ35DE's dual overhead cam and variable valve timing architecture.
Installation. Installation is difficult and requires substantial engine disassembly, precise camshaft timing, valvetrain setup, and professional ECU tuning. No drilling is required, but installation of the required Brian Crower BC0220 Valve Spring and Retainer Kit and careful verification of valvetrain clearances are necessary.
