Description, Q&A
Equip your 2021+ GM 1500 SUV with Belltech's 150222TP leveling kit and feel the superior handling you need. Achieve a modern, uniform appearance while also improving handling and performance making quick maneuvers safe and precise. Included are Belltech Trail Performance leveling struts which have been finely tuned with perfect preset damping forces for your SUV. The front and rear struts offer height adjustability from 0" to +2" to give you the option to increase clearance or add larger tires and wheels. Belltech Trail Performance struts are comprised of many components that all work together to create the ultimate suspension option. We include a spring perch that easily accommodates the OE spring. The struts feature a 50mm damper body that was built to hold a large volume of oil. The extra space and low-friction design improve heat dissipation to keep the oil cool; ensuring damping that does not fade. The independent 35mm rebound and compression valves work to deliver precise damper tuning. The 18mm hardened chrome piston rod lends extra strength and durability. Height customization is achieved by Belltech's patented height adjustable ring system. To accommodate each leveling option, we include packers and a progressive rate polymer open-cell bump stop to achieve precise bump stop engagement and prevent harshness while driving on an uneven road or over a speed bump. A high durometer vulcanized rubber bushing is used to further reduce vibrations and add to the smooth-balanced ride.
Suspension components are key to making sure your car is riding smoothly on or off the road. With upgraded suspension components, you can unlock the full potential of your vehicles performance.
Trucks often come from the factory with a lower ride height in the front to help with towing. You can change this by installing a leveling kit on the front of your vehicle, which will lift the front end by about an inch.
Since 1983 small company in Fresno, California had an idea to build the "best performing" lowering suspensions for the Chevrolet pickup. Fresno had been a haven for lowered vehicles and trucks were in abundance. Trucks were being lowered but their suspensions were terrible and not very roadworthy. Springs were either replaced with new ones not necessarily meant for the application and even worse they may be cut or heated with a torch at the local muffler shop to give the lowered stance that was cool. The stance looked good but the ride was terrible.
