      Description

      The Belltech Street Performance OEM shock lineup has been engineered to provide a premium ride quality for today's trucks and SUV's. Our engineers focused their attention on tuning the low speed compression characteristics of this shock absorber, which is responsible for controlling your Sport Truck or SUV's pitch and roll, dive and squat to help keep you confident and in control. The "Progressive"rebound tuning will complement large aftermarket wheels, keeping the ride smooth but firm and in control.

      Suspension components are key to making sure your car is riding smoothly on or off the road. With upgraded suspension components, you can unlock the full potential of your vehicles performance.

      It is recommended that you replace the shocks and struts of your vehicle every 50,000 to 100,000 miles. Replacing your shocks and struts will help reduce your braking distance and improve the overall ride quality of your vehicle. If you are doing some aggressive driving, it is recommended that you upgrade your shocks and struts to a stiffer setup to help enhance the performance of your vehicle.

      Since 1983 small company in Fresno, California had an idea to build the "best performing" lowering suspensions for the Chevrolet pickup. Fresno had been a haven for lowered vehicles and trucks were in abundance. Trucks were being lowered but their suspensions were terrible and not very roadworthy. Springs were either replaced with new ones not necessarily meant for the application and even worse they may be cut or heated with a torch at the local muffler shop to give the lowered stance that was cool. The stance looked good but the ride was terrible.

      Belltech street performance shocks

      I drive my truck everyday and it was extremely bouncy in the rear of my single cab chevy before I changed to these shocks. I’m on the highway a lot so the did great in dips and little thing on the road but I also live in a town with a bunch of pot holes and covered pot holes that are high bumps in the road. I would say it helps a bunch but I wouldn’t say they are the best for those things. Overall good shocks for highway and bad shock for bumpy back roads

      That's more like it.

      I lowered my 92 Mighty Max by cutting a coil off the front coil springs and used lowering blocks for the rear. The look was what I wanted but the ride was way to harsh. I installed Belltech coils and Street Performance Shocks. The ride is much better now. My kidneys are grateful.

      Great ride.

      I had lowered my S10 4" and both front and back shocks were bottoming out. I was going back and forth between Nitro Drop 2 and Street Performance. I went with the Street Performance and satisfied with my decision. The ride is awesome. I would get this again.

      shocks and struts for 03 S-10

      Just installed the belltech shocks and struts on my S10 xtreme. Truck rides like new! Probably better! Tight and stiff all the way around. Handles turns very well. Very satisfied with the shocks and struts! Well worth the money!
