      Description

      Precision Spring Support. The Steel Valve Spring Seats are designed to provide a stable and accurately positioned mounting surface for compatible valve springs within the cylinder head. The Steel Valve Spring Seats are engineered for use with BC1040-1 valve springs, helping maintain proper spring positioning and dependable valvetrain operation. Their precision dimensions make them well suited for performance engine builds and valvetrain upgrades.

      Construction and Appearance. These Steel Valve Spring Seats are CNC machined from hardened 4140 chromoly steel for exceptional strength, wear resistance, and long-lasting durability. Each seat features a 1.102-inch outside diameter, 0.844-inch step one diameter, 0.613-inch step two diameter, and 9.0-gram weight, with precision machining to exact tolerances for consistent fit and a professional finish.

      Installation. Installation is difficult and requires valvetrain disassembly, specialized valve spring tools, and careful verification of spring seat positioning and component compatibility. No drilling is required, but professional installation is recommended to ensure correct valvetrain geometry and assembly.
