      Description

      Viscous Crankshaft Damper. The Fluidampr Steel Internally Balanced damper effectively reduces damaging torsional vibrations that cause premature wear and power loss. Designed for performance applications, it offers reliable broad-range vibration control to protect the crankshaft and internal engine components under both stock and modified conditions.

      Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from high tensile steel, the damper includes precision CNC machined components and is digitally balanced to ensure smooth operation at high RPM. It features a corrosion resistant black zinc chromate finish and an engraved timing mark for convenient engine tuning reference.

      Installation. The damper is a direct OEM replacement with a pre-drilled three-bolt pattern compatible with accessory drives or dry sump systems, allowing straightforward installation without any drilling or modification.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 2013 and newer Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, Toyota GT86 models with 2.0L FA20 (Subaru) and 4U-GSE (Toyota) engines, as well as the 2015 Subaru Impreza WRX. This product replaces the stock elastomer style damper and is suitable for both stock and early-stage performance engine builds.
