      Description

      High-RPM Valve Control. The Dual Valve Spring Design is engineered to provide dependable valvetrain control in demanding high-RPM engine applications. The Dual Valve Spring Design supports up to 0.500-inch or 12.7-millimeter net cam lift and provides 80 pounds of seat pressure at 1.350 inches and 220 pounds of open pressure at 0.900 inches. Compatibility with BC2010, BC2011, and BC2210 retainers allows integration into properly matched performance valvetrain combinations.

      Construction and Appearance. This Dual Valve Spring Design is manufactured from super-clean chrome silicone alloy for exceptional strength, fatigue resistance, and consistent spring performance. Each spring features a 1.607-inch free length, a 1.180-inch outer spring outside diameter, and a 0.765-inch coil bind height for a precision-engineered performance configuration.

      Installation. Installation is difficult and requires cylinder head or valvetrain disassembly, specialized valve spring tools, and careful verification of installed height, spring pressure, coil bind clearance, and camshaft lift. No drilling is required, but professional installation is recommended to ensure correct valvetrain geometry and component compatibility.

      Application. This Dual Valve Spring Design fits F20C1/F22C1 S2000.
