It promotes heat extraction while maintaining a race-inspired look that improves both aesthetics and function. This hood is ideal for enthusiasts looking to reduce weight without sacrificing durability or appearance.

Construction and Appearance. Made from professional-grade 3K 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber fabric, this hood has a glossy finish for a sleek, show-ready appearance. The underside features a fiberglass skeleton bonded and coated with matte black enamel to provide additional strength and support. Each piece is inspected to ensure consistent weave patterns and an optimal carbon-to-resin ratio for maximum rigidity and durability.

Installation. Professional installation is recommended due to the precision required for mounting with OEM hardware. No drilling is necessary. Normal pre-paint preparation, including sanding and priming, is required only if painting the hood to match vehicle colors or finishes. Hood pins and a heat shield are necessary to prevent damage. Stock shocks, dampers, struts, or springs should not be used due to the lighter weight of the hood.

Application. The hood fits Honda S2000 models from 2000 through 2010 across AP1 and AP2 chassis configurations.
