Whether you're replacing worn-out stock pads or looking for an inexpensive way to improve your Brembo equipped Mustang's stopping power, Hawk High Performance Street (HPS) 5.0 Pads provide the greatest alternative to a complete brake upgrade. The Hawk HPS 5.0 Pads will enhance your driving experience, giving you shorter stopping distances, better performance under hard braking as well as preserving street car friendly characteristics.
Street/Strip Use. Hawk High Performance Street 5.0 Pads offer the greatest stopping power and pedal feel, all without compromising your ABS system. Brake torque and pedal feedback were major factors that went into producing a brake pad that will not only give you a unique driving feel, but will allow you to challenge yourself and really have fun with your S197 Mustang.
Ferro-Carbon Formula. Hawk uses a unique Ferro-Carbon formula, using aerospace design for its safety and quality characteristics and combined that with the braking technology of motorsports. More stopping power and resistance to brake fade make these High Performance Street 5.0 Brake Pads more responsive, durable and reliable.
Less Noise & Dust. The unique Ferro-Carbon formula used for these High Performance Street 5.0 Pads are specially formulated to produce and reduce extremely low brake dust levels while being very quiet during normal street driving conditions.
Application. This set of Hawk High Performance Street 5.0 Brake Pads are specifically designed to be used on the front of the 2007 to 2012 Shelby GT500, 2012-2013 Boss 302 and 2011-2014 GT Mustangs equipped with Brembo front calipers. Set includes driver-side and passenger-side brake pads.
