Description, Q&A
Upgrade your Honda Civic SI Coupe with the Invidia Gemini Triple Titanium Tip Cat-back Exhaust system. Designed to enhance performance, this exhaust system is crafted from durable 304 stainless steel, offering a perfect balance of weight reduction and longevity.
Invidia exhausts are engineered to reduce back pressure and turbo lag, resulting in improved throttle response and increased horsepower. This cat-back system not only boosts performance but also delivers an enhanced exhaust note, giving your Civic SI a more aggressive sound profile.
The Gemini exhaust features stylish triple titanium tips, adding a premium look to your vehicle's rear end. As one of the first recommended modifications for car enthusiasts, this exhaust system offers a significant upgrade over the OEM catback, improving both the aesthetics and performance of your Civic SI Coupe.
Invidia High Performance is renowned for their meticulous approach to exhaust system design. Their team of engineers conducts thorough research and development for each component, ensuring optimal performance tailored to customer needs. By carefully balancing factors such as exhaust back pressure and gas velocity, Invidia creates exhaust systems that maximize performance gains without sacrificing low-end power and torque.
Using high-quality materials and incorporating advanced design principles, Invidia exhausts are engineered to enhance your vehicle's performance, sound, and style. When applicable, they also utilize high-flow catalytic converters to maintain emissions compliance without compromising on performance.
This Invidia Gemini Triple Titanium Tip Cat-back Exhaust system is designed to fit 2017 and newer Honda Civic SI Coupe models.
but the point is
it's not as simple as just strap on a drain pipe and gains for days. A "quality" exhaust system maximizes performance gains by design.
Far more engineering goes in to the design of an exhaust system than many realise. From a performance perspective, there is a fine balance between exhaust back pressure and exhaust gas velocity. Too large a diameter pipe, and low down power and torque is sacrificed (particularly on naturally aspirated cars), too small a diameter or added restrictions and bottlenecks in the system, and the engine is unable to push gasses out of the combustion chamber efficiently, reducing power and torque. There are many other technical aspects such as 'scavenging effect' which are beyond the scope of this document
