Description, Q&A
Invidia exhausts are engineered to enhance your vehicle's performance and sound. By reducing back pressure and turbo lag, these systems significantly improve throttle response and horsepower. Crafted from high-quality 304 stainless steel, Invidia achieves an optimal balance between weight reduction and durability. Installing an Invidia exhaust is an excellent way to boost horsepower, improve overall performance, reduce weight, and achieve a more aggressive exhaust note.
Exhaust systems are a popular modification among car enthusiasts, offering a trifecta of benefits: enhanced aesthetics, improved sound, and increased performance. Replacing your vehicle's OEM catback exhaust with an aftermarket system like Invidia is often recommended as one of the first upgrades for any automotive enthusiast. This modification can significantly improve your car's horsepower, style, and sound profile.
Invidia High Performance is renowned for their meticulous approach to exhaust system design. Their team of engineers conducts extensive research and development for each component, ensuring optimal performance tailored to customer needs. Invidia understands the complex balance between exhaust back pressure and gas velocity, designing systems that maximize power gains without sacrificing low-end torque. By employing advanced concepts like the "scavenging effect" and using high-quality materials, including High Flow Catalytic Converters where applicable, Invidia creates exhaust systems that truly enhance your vehicle's performance.
but the point is
it's not as simple as just strap on a drain pipe and gains for days. A "quality" exhaust system maximizes performance gains by design.
Far more engineering goes in to the design of an exhaust system than many realise. From a performance perspective, there is a fine balance between exhaust back pressure and exhaust gas velocity. Too large a diameter pipe, and low down power and torque is sacrificed (particularly on naturally aspirated cars), too small a diameter or added restrictions and bottlenecks in the system, and the engine is unable to push gasses out of the combustion chamber efficiently, reducing power and torque. There are many other technical aspects such as 'scavenging effect' which are beyond the scope of this document
