Perfect Performance Upgrade

Works good

Gettin an extra 1.5 miles gallon, getting better performance, and sounds beastly. Good product all the way around.

2000 Dodge Durango 5.2

Overall pleased with product , however 2 yrs ago a purchased a spectre cold air intake for a 2000 dodge pick up let me tell super easy to install, spectre does not manufacture for my truck. The K&N is a bit challenging at first, because of the removal of the cruise control cable and redirecting some wires. Also the stud that is screwed at the very end of installation(goes on top)you tends not be securely tightened and leaves the the long tube a bit loose. Have noticed HP and Mpg gain.

Worth the Investment!

Wanted to give my SUV a little extra help on the performance front and get back a little more zip and hopefully a little better gas mileage. I think I achieved my goals. I just filled her up and drove about 30-40 miles on the freeway, at 55 mph and cruise control. I got 22.5 MPH with my 5.9 liter Durango. Never in 10 years have I ever got that kind of mileage! 17-18 at the most...When you plant your foot in it-it seems to wake this baby up. Very pleased. A good investment-especially if you plan on holding on to your SUV and driving it for a while-particularly as gas reaches gets to $5.00 a gallon. Get someone else to put it on for you. It's cleaner and gives you someone to go back to if something goes wrong. It's worth an hour of someone's eles labor-whatever the rate!

Breath Rite for Cars

The K&N FIPK was easy to install. The difference in performance was noticable. However, my reason for purchasing it was to increase fuel efficiency. My testing of the fuel economy is ongoing but first indications are that it does make some improvement. It will take a lot of driving for the K&N to pay for itself in fuel savings but I tink it will do it. Overall I think it is a good system and it does make breathing much easier for the engine. Much like a breath riet strip for me.

03 Durango: This Beats Airaid

I sent an Airaid filter system back. Don't get an Airaid for your '03 5.9 Durango. The K&N works well, I can tell it's breathing better. MAYBE..1-1.5 mpg better. It really sucks air when towing so it should be running more efficiently. Installation in about 2 hrs.
