Description
Gain a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque with a K&N cold air intake system featuring a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube. Each system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized, conical filter design allows you to go up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield or air box helps protect intake air from the high temperature of your engine bay, and the entire system can typically be installed in less than 90 minutes. Some intakes are not legal for sale or use on any pollution controlled motor vehicle in California. See the product specifications for CARB status on each part for a specific vehicle.
Air intake systems are a common first mod to many project cars. They are quick and simple to install while also enhancing the looks of your engine bay, the sounds of your engine, and the performance of your vehicle.
We often recommend upgrading your OEM intake to a cold air intake as one of the first modification your should do to your car. Often times, the factory airbox is restricting. so so pretty good
well i had a couple literally missing parts --part E-an L- bracket that bolts the metal tube to the a/c bracket & also missing the collar that ties the metal tube to the throttle body- i think they call it a -well some kind of nylon rubber material--------waiting now on those missing parts-

K&N 77-1516 KP
I installed this kit on my 2003 Dodge Durango . I received the air tube with a ding on the bend and notified customer service and was shipped a new one from K&N. Ive got it all in and look forward to more air flow, better fuel mileage, throttle response and performance. Great product and awesome price!

after installing the system on my dodge dakota the first thing i noticed was mid range excelleration increase and the bonus is how cool it sounds during hard excelleration. I'm very happy with the system

I have been very pleased with this intake after install, paired with my 3" magnaflow exhaust it sounds great, and has a little more power when I punch it, great add on for the price.

looks good and sounds good too!
the series 77 intake was an easy install on my 00 dak w/4.7, it looks great and sounds awesome. doubt theres any performance increase since the factory intake is basically the same thing. the difference being the 4.7s air resonator and flat filter. did i mention that it sounds awesome, cuz it does!

I have not had a chance to see if there is an increase in MPG but the acceleration is great if I can keep my foot out of the gas it feels like an old muscle car

Definate horsepower and milage gain
Install was easy. My Dodge is like a totally different vehicle. Horespower if you want it and better milage as long as you keep your foot out of it.

K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit
Looks great and sounds awsome. Installed easily in less than an hour. Still measuring HP and mileage increase... but thats not really why I bought it. There are cheaper options out there but they do not compare to a real K&N. The web site made getting the correct part for my make and model really easy. It was shipped the same day and arrived a day earlier that I expected it. Nice!
