The bearings exhibit a black finish with integrated full-length oil grooves, SmartLug™ design improvements, and oil slots engineered to maximize lubrication efficiency and reduce leak risk.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward for professional engine builders accustomed to performance engine work. No drilling is necessary, and the bearings are designed to fit standard crankshaft and housing dimensions specified for the Subaru EJ series engines without additional modifications.
