      Description

      Ride Comfort may be important, but restoring a vehicles Ride Control, stability, stopping, lane change responsiveness and handling is critical. KYB Excel-G Shocks and Struts are designed for the most important performance purpose: Restoring the vehicles original capabilities. KYB is a world leading supplier of shocks and struts to new vehicle manufacturers and the Excel-G is made on the very same KYB OE assembly lines, uses the same OE quality components and is calibrated to restore original, designed performance, not change it. That has earned Excel-G the classification: OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket). The KYB Excel-G is a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube design that includes every quality component that our global OEM products include and it is the preferred choice by professional technicians.

      Suspension components are key to making sure your car is riding smoothly on or off the road. With upgraded suspension components, you can unlock the full potential of your vehicles performance.

      It is recommended that you replace the shocks and struts of your vehicle every 50,000 to 100,000 miles. Replacing your shocks and struts will help reduce your braking distance and improve the overall ride quality of your vehicle. If you are doing some aggressive driving, it is recommended that you upgrade your shocks and struts to a stiffer setup to help enhance the performance of your vehicle.

      Strut Plus

      One of the better socks out there, would highly recommend for your vehicle. That’s if you want a good quality longer life out of your shocks.

      Great replacement as OEM

      Shocks are at least OEM quality or better, great value for the money. Only problems with the install is more related to the vehicle not the shock. Front set was pretty tough to remove upper bolts on the old ones but the new ones were just fine. Lots of patience and a cutting tool made it quicker.

      My opinion

      I had these shocks and struts along with air lift/bag leveling kit installed and it makes the Avalanche handle and drive a lot better especially while towing my Big Tex auto hauler trailer

      The purchase and delivery were fast and easy, even during a busy time of the year. The strut and spring assembly were for the rear of a Honda CR-V. The product is excellent, certainly better than the lower-priced products found in my local auto parts store. The price for the set of KYB struts was lower other vendors. I intend to purchase struts next month for the front of the car.

      Worthwhile upgrade

      Obviously not stock or factory is the first thing that comes to mind. No wheel hop, no body roll in turns.
