The KYB Gas-a-just monotube shock absorber has additional performance advantages over the traditional twin-tube design: It can instantly, automatically adjust to your performance needs and never experiences fade due to aeration. The KYB Gas-a-just has two separate working chambers: An air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control, and a second high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston that provides a comfortable ride during normal driving and adds instant performance on demand.
Suspension components are key to making sure your car is riding smoothly on or off the road. With upgraded suspension components, you can unlock the full potential of your vehicles performance.
It is recommended that you replace the shocks and struts of your vehicle every 50,000 to 100,000 miles. Replacing your shocks and struts will help reduce your braking distance and improve the overall ride quality of your vehicle. If you are doing some aggressive driving, it is recommended that you upgrade your shocks and struts to a stiffer setup to help enhance the performance of your vehicle.
KYB is well known as an Original Equipment supplier to new vehicle manufacturers around the globe. We use the same materials, techniques and facilities to build our Aftermarket products. We take pride in offering products that restore your vehicle to how it performed when it was new. In short, we create products that are the correct solution for the application, and we use our products on our own cars and trucks.

Great performance upgrade for my 2003 Durango
Great upgrade, far better steering response over OEM shocks. Gives a great ride while stout through corners at higher speeds. Gabriel and Monroe shocks just don't hold up to my heavier Durango. I think these KYB shocks will do much better over time

Excellent performace and smooth ride.
I always had issue with Dodge Durango riding too hard in the back. Replacing rear shock absorbers with KYB Gas-a-just not only gave the performance and stability, but also much smoother ride.
