      Mishimoto 06+ Honda Civic Si Racing Thermostat 68 Degrees - MMTS-CIV-06

      The Mishimoto racing thermostat for the 2006-2011 Honda Civic Si will promote greater cooling efficiency throughout your engine. The Mishimoto racing thermostat will significantly lower high engine temperature produced by modified and upgraded turbo applications. Once the engine is fully warmed up, the Mishimoto racing thermostat will open up at a lower temperature (68°C) than standard thermostats (82°C), also allowing the coolant to flow through the engine sooner thus reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures.

      Mishimoto Racing Thermostat

      I have been building my car and after various mods, it made sense for me to try to protect its cooling temperature before it became an issue so after buying the radiator hoses, I included this purchase as well. It was very time consuming to reach the thermostat on my car, but the Mishimoto, was a perfect fit, had the same OEM Housing, and every hole aligned purrfectly, so after that it was an easy install. After the install I still have had no issues; still waiting for the Autocross season.
