Very nice and secure bed cover. Retracts perfectly, drains off any unwanted moisture, keeps everything inside dry. Well worth the money. I won't be purchasing anymore soft roll ups. Couple hrs to install and excellent instructions.

Installation of the PE Ultra Groove Metal Retractable Bed Cover

I have a 2023 Tacoma and just installed the Ultra Groove Metal Retractable Tonneau Cover purchased through Extreme Terrain (a pricey $2200). There were two boxes delivered and packaged really well. Don't believe the U Tube video that this simple to do as the young lady bragged! I'm quite mechanically inclined and it took me 4 hours to install! First off, the canister cover does not drop onto the sides of the truck bed as shown in the video. The instructions tell you to use two 5 gallon buckets to support the canister cover in the back of the bed. I follwed the instructions and had difficulty engaging the side rails to the caniter to line up the two screw holes on either side. I found it easier to lay the caniter on it's side on my garage floor and fastening each rail with them straight up in the air creating a U shape once both were installed. I was able to then screw in the two rail screws on each side. Then I carried on to the top of the truck bed. Don't waste your time with the buckets! The clamp extensions that supposedly easily slide onto each side rail DO NOT slide easily! At the underside of each rail there is a 1 1/2 inch piece of plastic at the beginning of each track that is hard to engage the clamp extension into it. I had to use a mallet and a piece of wood to bang it past the plastic pieces on each side. The plastic piece is too thick for the clamp extension grooves! Once I banged it past that plastic piece the extension clamp moved easily in the track to position them. The rest of the clamp assembly was very easy. Note: The Tacoma tying clamps with T mounts provided with your truck can still be added to the factory installed bed rails in between the cover clamps. The last issue I faced was installing the drain tubes. The 2023 Tacoma has two small drain holes in the back of the bedon either side, but they need to be drilled to widen the hole for the drain tubes. Only the drivers side hose needed to be cut back to fit properly. The passenger side hose length fits fine. As for the form washers to provide a water tight seal, they stink! You can't twist the drain tube to tighten the tube to the bottom of the canister with the foam. I had a tube of black Flex Seal Rubber Sealer on hand and applied it on each drain fitting and they screwed in easily and provided a water tight seal once it dried. The tail gate drain tubes easily fit through the two pop out tabs on each side of the Tacoma bed. I drilled out two holes for the hoses. No cutting of the hoses needed. They reach the bottom of the truck easily and with visual exposure. All in all I'm happy with my purchase, it looks great on the truck!!

The perfect retractable cover.

I absolutely love this cover. It’s easy to use and keeps the things in the truck bed safe and secure. Since installing the cover it has rained twice but I’ve seen no evidence of any moisture in the truck bed.

Great Tonneau Cover

This T Cover I have had for the past 6 years and has done a great job for me. I do like this Cover very much. The only think I have issues with is that the cover is very hard to keep clean and black, plus the rubber seals on each side has disintegrated after about 4 years. I wish I could replace the seals. Other than that, this is a great Tonneau Cover.

Bed Cover

Great bed cover. Easy to use. Only faults was that there was not enough foam strip and the one for front of bed should have been wider, Should have two more clips for the sides,
