Application tuned for precision on-road and off-road handling, Rancho RS7MT monotube shocks are highly effective in the dissipation of heat, making them ideal for extreme off-road use and larger wheel and tire packages. RS7MT shocks feature an integrated dirt wiper sealing system that keeps dirt and debris out, hardened piston rod that resists scuffs and corrosion plus an internal rebound bumper to smooth out your ride on any terrain.
Suspension components are key to making sure your car is riding smoothly on or off the road. With upgraded suspension components, you can unlock the full potential of your vehicles performance.
It is recommended that you replace the shocks and struts of your vehicle every 50,000 to 100,000 miles. Replacing your shocks and struts will help reduce your braking distance and improve the overall ride quality of your vehicle. If you are doing some aggressive driving, it is recommended that you upgrade your shocks and struts to a stiffer setup to help enhance the performance of your vehicle.
Rancho is a popular brand of suspension, shocks, and more. Rancho was born in the 1950s in Long Beach, California, as Rancho Jeep Supply, and quickly grew into a thriving off-road and performance suspension components manufacturer. In 1985, Rancho launched what would later become its best-selling shock absorber: the RS5000. In 1990, Rancho was purchased by Tenneco Inc. and quickly expanded to include the world's first five-way adjustable shock absorber. This technology allowed off-road enthusiasts to adjust the compression/rebound damping level to suit their riding style and launched the first 'intelligent' shock, the RSX shock absorber. Rancho continued to grow and add fully engineered, industry-leading shock absorbers like RS9000 XL, Loaded quickLIFT, Pro Series, and more plus suspension systems to one of the world's most recognizable and technologically leading brands. Rancho suspension systems, shock absorbers, accessories, and other related products deliver rugged performance for work and play in any on - or off-road environment.

I am very happy with the choice of this shock absorber and the company that made it (Rancho) compared to my previous set with my purchase it is a very big change in the handling, stability of my Jk and vibration damping. I have them on my jeep for a week and they work well, I hope they serve me as long as possible. Thanks

Review shared from Rancho RS5000X Front Shock for 0 to 2-Inch Lift (07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK)
Huge difference
Used to replace my OEM shocks on my 2013 JkU....first off, don't try to bend the off like some of the YouTube videos say, spend approximately 1.5 hrs on the front passenger side, in the end was easier to just cut it off. Once on, my steering wobble disappeared and a much smoother ride

Easy install if it wasn’t for rust
These would have been a ridiculously easy install if it wasn’t for the rust I had on the original shocks. But these ride great, direct replacement, no need to Jerry rig anything.

Review shared from Rancho RS5000X Front Shock for 3.50-Inch Lift (97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ)
Better ride
I replaced my front Rough Country shocks with these Rancho RS5000x and what a difference! I have read that it would take a couple hundred miles to "break-in" the new shocks in order to notice a difference but I could feel the difference right away, much smoother ride! Now for the rear!
