Nice but seam are ripping

I bought two of these for my 05 LJ and really like the firmness and the way it cradles my body. The drivers seat seam at the side bolster ripped. Contacted Rugged Ridge and finally got a replacement free of charge. Now the passenger seat which my sits in is starting to go in the same spot. Sent in a request for replacement but have not heard anything. Do like the fact these will the make forward. Not as much as the stock seats but still better than no tumble.

Real Nice Seats. But when I got them installed with factory slides and brackets with the seat completely in the back position my knees where only two inches from the dash. That is not going to happen. But orginal seat back in . R&R are for sale on marketplace .5 star on seat only

Seat replacement

Great seats, the only reason not getting a 5th star is because the seats Dont quite fit. The reclining knobs stick out on both side of the seat not giving you clearance to center console and seat belt anchor. It is extremely hard to lift seat to get to rear seat .

Excellent replacement seat!

This seat is very high quality and fits up well on my existing frame. Matches up well with my OEM seat.

Nice seats but reclining is awkward

Nice seats but the knob that is used to adjust the reclined position is very tight and hard to move. A lever would have been much easier. Material is very nice also.

New seats

Love my new seats... I am 5'3" and could not see the good or push my clutch all the way in.. these seats recline and get me right where I need to be to ride in comfort and safely!! The only reason it took s full day to put them in was because we had to take stock seats out of a 1989 YJ. Had not issues.. nothing to do with the seats.. they were easily installed!

the construction is awesome. great quality . why I give a 3 , because they are not comfortable at all. they needs to be more wider on the seat part.

Not meant for those with junk in the trunk

This seat came mostly pre-assembled I just had to put the crank wheels on which was no effort at all. I did however break the plastic cover that snaps on over the hinges, but nothing a little superglue couldn't fix. I'm 5'2" and have a little extra junk in the trunk and this seat is definitely not meant for those of us with wide hips. I'm hoping I can "break it in" so that it's eventually comfortable to sit on.
