Description, Q&A
The CrMo shock tower brace from UMI adds great looks, front end protection all while keeping the weight slim. UMI's CrMo brace weighs only 4lbs, 1/2lb lighter than our mild steel version P/N 2005. UMI's CrMo design uses thin wall 4130 tubing TIG welded to 1/4" thick CNC laser cut brackets. Installation of the UMI shock tower brace takes 15 minutes or less using basic hand tools.
Suspension components are key to making sure your car is riding smoothly on or off the road. With upgraded suspension components, you can unlock the full potential of your vehicles performance.
Strut bars are mounted to the front and rear Shock towers of your vehicle. They are mounted across the driver and passenger to side of the suspension to stiffin up the vehicle. Stuts bars are a good modification for those who are looking to upgrade their ride for aggressive driving.
UMI Performance manufactures domestic vehicle suspension components that are track-tested, and street approved. With roots in precision components manufacturing, UMI Performance engineers quality into every product it produces. For over 16 years, UMI Performance has produced suspension parts in-house at its Philipsburg, PA facility with 100% U.S.-sourced raw materials. The team at UMI Performance is comprised of engineers and sales representatives that are true racers. They proudly race the products they produce and use that experience to design and further develop their products. Crucially, they have developed their product to be capable at the track and usable for daily commuting. Its product lines are also designed with installation in mind, as most components are factory replacement parts that require little to no fabrication. Any products that do require fabrication include clear step-by-step instructions to ensure enthusiasts get the most out of their vehicles.
