2020 Tacoma TRD Sport

Installed on a 2020 Tacoma TRD Sport – solid product overall. Install went smoothly and it performs exactly as expected. Just a heads-up: it ships dry (no gear oil) and doesn’t include a breather valve, so plan for that. The parking brake lines were sized for a short bed, so I had to swap them out—added about 1.5 hours of extra work. Other than that, everything bolted up cleanly and has been running strong since.

Outstanding Match and Quality

I installed for their strength over the stock axels. Perfect fit. I did need to get the bearing pressed on since everything came unassembled. This would of been great to know so I could of set up to have this done prior to the install.

I’ve had this kit installed for a few years now on my 97 gt and haven’t had a single issue with it. I 100% recommend having a good shop install it and take it easy for the first few hundred miles after the install. After that you should be able to have a lot of fun with it!

The axle shaft comes very well packaged in a foam filled box. It is not completely assembled as the stock photo shows on this site. Axle shaft is bare with the tone ring, bearing, and seal packaged separately inside the foam needing to be pressed onto shaft. Wheel studs not included. Build quality appears top notch as expected.

Front axle kit

Overall been holding up great, I don’t do insane offroad trials but also don’t do baby trails. I snapped my Dana30 in half and bought just the housing and used this kit for the guts and it’s been holding up pretty well for about 6 months sitting on 35s and a 2.5” lift. Overall I’d recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade their axle shafts.

Yukon axle kit

Seems to be a nice fit along with the 4.88 Yukon ring and pinion kit.

So far so good

Had this installed by a shop that builds a number differentials for race cars so they know what they're doing. No issues with installation but get a couple of ABS reluctors and for the new 31 spline axles, in case you have trouble getting them off the old axles. I also had 4:10's installed so far it all seems to work well.

Just installed on a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with no issues, a great add on consider a truss!

Stout axle

Wanted to upgrade to a 31 spline for my 04' mach1. And yes the stock axles are 28 splines for some unknown reason. Yukon are very well made abs ring went on with ease but remember to install wheel studs first before you put the abs ring on. Would definitely recommend these axles they will definitely handle the power you put to them. Thanks to American muscle for the guidance
