Amp bars for 2008 GMC

First I'll start with the good They look and work great. The bad was the install process. After getting a quote to install them for about 1,000.00, I thought how hard could it be? It actually wasn't hard on my truck mechanically, it was more from things beyond my control. I actually had to buy a tap and dye kit because their hardware didn't fit in my truck on some spots. They mentioned it could be from paint, rust, and whatever. But then some of their hardware had to be tapped as well.

Worth the money

Probably the best investment I've made for my lifted Chevy 3500HD. The setup looks very clean and quality is great. Worth every penny in my opinion. Some of the instructions were a bit confusing, but for the most part was easy to follow. Loved the fact they described exactly which color wire goes to where, and where to find that wire in my truck.

Product was received in 3 days. Great looking product. Slightly overpriced. Easy to put steps on, but Harder than I expected when I went to wire it up. Good directions and youtube videos helped a lot before I started. Took 5 - 6 hours total. Most time is spent wiring. Would do it again anyday

Worth the money

Bought the AMPs cause I hate the look of regular running boards and these are 110% better than I was expecting . I live in the northeast and they deploy every time no matter how cold it is. The install took awhile just because of the wiring but other than that Im completely satisfied and would highly recommend these

I am very happy with this purchase! These running boards work great, are extremely sturdy, and look fantastic on my 2011 Silverado! The installation can be a bit time consuming, but if you follow the directions exactly they will work perfectly on the first try. Very, very satisfied with this product!

Very nice just bit pricey

Great step big and easy to use. Lights are awesome at night lights up the entire step and all the ground. Pretty easy to install by myself in 6 hours but wasn't in any hurry. Had to get a little more wire loom but not much else. The directions are pretty well stated could use updating since I didn't have to remove door panel like it stated for my year/model but that was a plus. I love the way you can't even tell they are there when up makes for a clean look. Shipped to my door in 28 hours

Great addition to my truck!

The AMP boards are a very nice add on! Two of us installed them in about 3 hours. The directions were pretty clear on what to do, and I also watched a few videos which helped a lot. The boards are very sturdy and the wires are hid very well. The boards tuck up underneath my truck to where you can't even notice them. The compliments you will get with these boards are endless! Every truck I own from now on will have a set of these boards!
